Wraparound School Care

Wraparound
School Care

Since 2004, Sleepy Hollow has been a leading provider of primary school based school age childcare across Northern Ireland. Our fully registered units operate in accordance with health and social care trust regulations, similar to our Early Childhood Centres and we proudly manage over 20 branches throughout the region.

Our Mission

We are dedicated to providing exceptional, enjoyable, and value-driven wraparound and holiday childcare for children and their families. Our focus is on creating a nurturing environment that supports the needs of working parents year-round through our breakfast club, after-school club, and holiday club services.

Our Vision

To be recognised as the most trusted provider of school-aged childcare, celebrated for our commitment to delivering exceptional quality and value.

At Sleepy Hollow, our team of playworkers and childcare professionals is committed to fostering a safe, engaging, and fun-filled atmosphere for all children. We also aim to provide a professional service to schools to add to their extra curricular activites and school day whilst alleviating any burden from school staff. We undertake all of the staffing, registration, regulation and administration at our own Head Office.

How It Works?

We pay a rental income to each school we are in, primarily based on the number of children attending and in return, schools re-invest this money into the school estate.
We also subsidise some childcare placements confidentially as referred by each school. This, therefore, follows a social economy model. We also follow a playwork approach in all of our schools to meet the needs of school age children.

"My children initially went to a different Sleepy Hollow branch and I moved them both to Aldergrove when it was taken over due to the outside space and that there is a preschool onsite. The facilities are first class and both my children are so happy here. Being able to have both in one place (one preschool and one daycare) is such a bonus when you are a working parent tight for time in the mornings. The staff are a credit to the place, every single one is so friendly and you can tell they love what they do."

Considering wraparound childcare at your school?

Sleepy Hollow Group is happy to support School Principals and Leadership Teams who are already providing their own out of school club or who would like to establish their own club. Sleepy Hollow is committed however to fully registered provision given that the Children (NI) Order 1995 requires that any care for over two hours per day must be a registered with HSCT. Sleepy Hollow is always keen to work with schools where their premises permit to expand our facilities especially with forward-thinking schools in order to meet the needs of their pupils and families.

We can work with most spaces and areas within schools but its always best for us to arrange a site visit to discuss options. School leadership teams, Boards of Governors, or PTA’s can contact us to arrange a meeting to discuss options for us opening in your school.

Please feel free to email info@sleepyhollowgroup.com or call 02894 339031 to speak with one of our Directors.
